After Historic Season, Scott Football Hopes to Build Winning Tradition
Bryan Burke - The River City News
Scott High School is working hard to build a winning foundation to its football program. Last season, the Eagles finished with their best record ever and only their second winning season in school history. That team was made up of many seniors at key positions and adequately replacing those players remain the team's top priority.

“The biggest thing we're facing this year is the fact that we lost a lot of good seniors last year,” Scott head coach Dan Woolley said. “But we have a lot of kids that have been waiting in the wings, stepped up and had a lot of success at the junior varsity level so we're hoping that rolls over onto the varsity level”.

One of the top returning figures from the winning campaign of 2013 is two-way standout, Roberto London, who is expected to shoulder a lot of the team's ground game at running back and is also assigned the responsibility of making the defensive calls from his safety position London rushed for over 500 yards and tallied six rushing touchdowns a year ago.
