 The Republic Bank Game of the Week is on a bye this weekend. We’ll be back on the air September 23 as NKYSports.com will be webcasting Bishop Brossart vs. Newport Central Catholic live from Newport, KY. We’ll have webcast links to some of the other games going on this weekend on the website.
Game of the Week Replay
Last week’s Republic Bank Games of the Week featured Lloyd vs. Walton-Verona. After each game, NKYSports.com selects a Player of the Game for each team and donates $25.00 to the school’s athletic department in the player’s name.
Lloyd’s Player of the Game was Dexter Smith who threw for a touchdown. Walton-Verona’s Player of the Game was Corey Bennett who recorded 192 rush yards on 22 carries and scored 3 touchdowns.
