Another basketball season gone means one thing this time of year, baseball. It’s that time of year again in Northern Kentucky. Beechwood was voted the #1 team in the pre-season coaches poll. NCC, CovCath, Dixie and Holy Cross round out the top 5 in the poll. Defending 9th Region Champs, Boone County, didn’t get the love as they are #6. The Rebels are off to a hot start as both of their first two wins have been on run rules. One of these came against #5 Holy Cross. With the loss of only one key player from last years regional champs Boone County looks to be the favorite this year. With many teams still waiting to begin their seasons this week we will have to wait and see who is the real deal.
