NKYSports.com HS Football Game of the Week
This week's video broadcast features Highlands (6-0) at Dixie (3-3). The Bluebirds look to continue their winning ways against the Colonels on Friday. Highlands is coming off a 46-0 win over Louisville Eastern last week while Dixie won over Scott 56-12. Beef O' Brady's in Newport will also be showing the game on their big screen TV's Friday night. The broadcast for this game will begin at 7:00 P.M.
NewCath at Newport
NewCath (5-1) is coming off a big 38-31 win over CovCath to face Newport (3-2). Newport defeated Estill County last week 42-22 and has been scoring a lot of points but will face a much tougher NewCath defense this Friday. The Wildcats' defense will try and contain the duo of Brady Hightchew and Chris Kelly who have combined for 18 rushing touchdowns. And the Thoroughbred defense will have to key on Demetri Brown who has already thrown for 945 yards and 14 touchdowns. NewCath has won the past 6 meetings.
Lloyd at Scott
This game features two teams with identical records of 1-4 and should offer a good match-up. Lloyd's only win was against Dayton while Scott's lone win was against Bellevue. The past 2 games between the two teams have been pretty close, and last year the Eagles defeated the Juggernauts 34-26.

Week 6 Players of the Game - CovCath vs NewCath
During each broadcast, NKYSports.com will select a Player of the Game from each NKY team and donate $25.00 to the team's athletic fund in the player's name. In last week's CovCath vs NewCath Game of the Week, Gabe Gray of CovCath and Chris Kelly of NewCath were selected as Player's of the Game.
Kelly rushed 29 times for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns along with 2 receptions for 38 yards. On defense, Kelly had 6 tackles and 1 pass deflection. Gray rushed 7 times for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns.
