The Kentucky State Football Playoffs begin tonight and the OMEGA Processing Game of the Week webcast will feature a Class 1A game between Raceland (6-4) and Brossart (9-1). The Rams are ranked #7 in the State for Class 1A while the Mustangs are ranked #9 so look for this to be the most competitive first round playoff match-up in Northern Kentucky.
Brossart is lead by Senior RB Frank Cetrulo and Senior QB Craig Pfefferman. Cetrulo has rushed for 846 yards and 10 TD's and also has 5 TD receptions. Pfefferman has thrown for 1,402 yards and 17 TD's and has also rushed for 446 yards and 9 TD's.
The key leaders for Raceland are RB Kane Snyder and QB Nathaniel Davidson. Synder leads the Rams in rushing with 966 yards and 11 TD's while Davidson has thrown for 1,012 yards and 9 TD's. Davidson has also rushed for 6 TD's. Raceland defeated Russell in OT last week 27-21.
These two teams have never played each other.

Brett Slusher was our OMEGA Processing Player of the Game as Beechwood defeated NewCath 31-14. Slusher had 9 receptions for 180 yards and 3 TD's. He also recovered 2 fumbles for the Tigers.

Can NewCath make it to the State Championship game again like they did last year? The Breds put on a nice run in the playoffs before losing to Desales 26-0 in the Finals. NewCath will have to get past Lloyd though eventually, who lost to NewCath earlier this season but was a very tight game.
